Enclosed please find a personal check (Connecticut National Bank, Vernon, CT) made out to you in the amount of  $120, such funds being issued to you as payment for my and my wife's participation in the ninth annual Clabby Classic.

I trust that preparations have gone smoothly and that you have scheduled perfect weather for the event.

Thank you very much for the appropriate comments on your scouting report.  Please understand that I will be on my best behavior this year, expecting only those prizes, awards, medals, trophies, glorias, and hosannahs that I truly have earned through my scoring and conduct on the golf course.
